Make Leisure Suit Larry Come Again!

Donate to make the remake of the Leisure Suit Larry games a reality, featuring Al Lowe (the creator of the games) in an awesome video.

Oh my god, I wish I could donate to get my own copy so bad. But I'm gonna wait til I move out of my parents house before I own anything like that. It's bad enough that I got Saints Row: The Third and desperately need to make sure I keep away the exceptionally "naughty" things about the game from my ultra-conversative mother. She knows I'm an adult and gives me my space but. Yeahhh. Her house, her rules, etc. etc. etc.

EITHER WAY I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS TO HAPPEN.

Also I got a tumblr. I've been spamming the balls out of it with silly stuff so I apologize hard to anyone who's already following it and dealing with my flood up crap.

One of these days I'm dressing up for Halloween/cosplaying as either of these guys: Tommy Vercetti from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City or Claude Speed from Grand Theft Auto III.

I wouldn't be nearly as good as these guys (aka this is my excuse to link awesome cosplay), but WHO CARES I wanna do it anyway. I was already a blonde Clint Eastwood with tits (the blonde part fit at least) from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly for Halloween. I can do some angry guys from some angry games. If I could get all the right things I wonder if I could do either of this guys for the Seattle comicon, even though it's video games and not comics?

Also, now I wanna RP Claude kind of. He doesn't talk but all the little things he does makes me wanna still. I better finish the game first though. AND SPEAKING OF HIM WANT THAT OFFICIAL FIGURE OF HIM REALLY BAD HDSFKSDHFHD.

And for non-game related stuff, uhhh. I have a friend who was talking about how he was in a car accident and now he's doing all this shit and living his life and stuff. And that's really good! But it makes me wonder if I'm doing stuff with my life. Everything feels like a lot of waiting, really. I'm working towards an associates degree in community college and I'm waiting until almost exactly a month from now to do this TV production internship. Otherwise I'm not really doing anything. I guess you could call it doing something, I just have to deal with a lot of waiting?

I'm trying not to think about it too much but I keep going back to it. I really hope I don't turn into one of those lazy assed people that doesn't do anything with their lives.

Jeez. AGAIN, I've been talking about Saints Row a lot. I was already really into it, I guess it's my turn now to be really REALLY into it! Anyway, I was really bored and came up with the idea of taking pictures of my Saints Row: The Third bosses for fun. As usual, crappy iPhone-camera-to-TV-screen pictures ahead.

Today was the best trolling session with

asses (wow that matches now) today. I got no homework done but learning what the guy we pissed off in Playstation Home was eating for dinner made it all worth it. I SERIOUSLY HAD SO MUCH FUN, GUYS. I already said it on plurk but I mean it.

Also, YEAHHHHH. because Friday is my birthday. I always am in such a good mood on my birthday week because I'm excited and I'm also an attention whore. JUST A FEW MORE DAYS AND I CAN GO GET DRUNK ON SOMETHING... EVEN THOUGH I PROBABLY WON;T.

SAINTS ROW SPAM BIG SUPRISE, I've been playing this more often than any other game lately I'm so into it. I've said most of this stuff on plurk but I feel like ~summarizing~ it all here.

So I'm really in love with the Zombie Voice in the third game now. The fun thing is, if you listen to him really closely during cutscenes with subtitles on he's actually saying the english words most of the time, it's just super slurred together and hilarious. But a lot of times you can actually make out what he's saying in cutscenes if you have the subtitles to help.

Also I've heard him say "ASSHOLE" when you push pedestrians around and I heard him say "BUH BYE" once. And the whole A FUCKING TIGER cutscene with him and Angel is extra hilarious.

Also also my mom walked in when a cutscene started and all she heard was Killbane yell HOOKER ASSASSINS!!!

ALSO ALSO ALSO I BEAT THE MAIN STORY OF GRAND THEFT AUTO IV. I did the Revenge ending. Now I'm finally gonna move into the two DLC stories and I'm officially done with this game. Then I'll do GTA 3 and I'll be caught up on the main games (cuz that's not including stuff like Vice City Stories, Chinatown, blahblahblah all the other stuff I can't remember off the top of my head) and be all ready for the fifth game to come out.

Aaaaaaand for something not video game related I tried doing that gallbladder cleanse. It didn't work out for me, I was too hungry all the time and just drinking everything wasn't working for me. I'm still gonna stick with a more careful diet and just drink lots of water and apple juice anyway but I don't know if I could have kept up the cleanse for four days.

I dunno, am I quitting too easily on this? I keep asking myself if I should keep it up but I was seriously just neverending hungry all the time.

I posted this on plurk and twitter the other day but I meant to say it here too. SO I JUST THOUGHT ABOUT THIS IN GRAND THEFT AUTO IV. How come if you say yes to an activity with a friend in the game Niko will just be like SURE FINE LET'S GO BOWLING, but in the mission Buoys Ahoy he has to be convinced to have fun? LIKE, HE LITERALLY FLIPS OUT AT THIS FOR NO REASON. And I swear this isn't a snarky commentary, I'm not trying to be like IT'S BECAUSE BERNIE IS GAY ISN'T IT!! I'm just wondering cuz lmfao Niko has way crazier friends that seem to annoy him more than Bernie does, of all people. ~~aka Brucie.~~

Also, watching my sister play her character in Saints Row 2 more, I realize I don't like the Female 1 Boss personality that much. I DUNNO, this may just be me personally but I feel like the voice acting is really lacking. Unless it's just the parts I'm listening to that are. HUH. Oh well whatever, Female 2 and 3 are still the best Bossladies.

I got another favorite BAMF now.

MAN, I can't wait until my LJ RP game moves to DW. Not even because I'm having such a hard time with LJ, but I'm sick of switching back and forth between sites now.

SO IT'S BEEN SNOWING A LOT HERE. It's really pretty but a definate pain to drive in. I've gone for a few walks in it, shoveled the snow off our driveway, and goofed around throwing snowballs at my sister because my college has been closed for two days in a row so far. I didn't care so much about missing class yesterday, but today in Film Noir we were gonna see The Maltese Falcon at this little independent theatre downtown that my cool teacher works at. I think we're gonna do it another time now which is fine, but I was still really looking forward to it. I was gonna use the bus system for the first time in my life too like a BIG GIRL!!

Anyway other than that not much has been happening here! I beat Saints Row 2. It was really fun. I think my new favorite weapon in it is the pimp cane shotgun. Me and Oreo have been goofing around in both that game and the third one and it's been AWESOME.

Other than that I'm finally playing Uncharted 3. Sully and Elena have always been my absolute favorite characters, so I had an AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA when you do the part with pre-puberty Nate and young man-ish Sully. GODDAMN SULLY YOU GOT THEM MUSCLES.

I'm gonna try and see if I can upload some stuff of Saints Row 3 and update this journal later if I actually figure out how the hell it works on the main SR3 website. So far it's giving me nothing, so I hope I haven't lost those screenshots I took a few days ago since I didn't have an account at the time. I might just have to make sure to take some new pictures the next time I play 3. Especially with friends.

Also I finally figured out how to disabled custom comment page over Dreamwidth. Since this is just my personal journal it's not that big a deal to me because depending on your DW journal style custom comment pages aren't THAT bad but that's gonna be a good thing to keep in mind for RP crap.

YEAHHHH.

I JUST beat the story mode on Saints Row The Third today! This post is gonna be full of spoilers cuz I wanna talk about it. Also, sorry for all the journalspam lately. I think having a fresh new journal has reviving ye olde blogging hobby again.

AAAAND I don't know if I'll add more thoughts to this later. But I probably will. The end for now!

Taking forever to come up with a character that I was actually satisfied with in Saints Row The Third got me thinking about how picky I am when a game has character customization available to me.

I seriously restarted games like Mass Effect SO many times until I came up with a character I liked. At least by the end when I got something I liked I was REALLY proud of it. But I think Saints Row 3 is officially gonna be one of the best worst examples of me taking forever considering how deep the customizations are.
